Dawna Austin Fund Raiser - Let's Get The Ball Rolling!

Our good friend Dawna Austin was diagnosed with MS last year. Dawna is a mother of four from Abbotsford and has the chance to fly to Poland in two weeks for a surgical procedure tot treat her MS that is not available in North America, but is having fantastic results. Dawna's parents have paid for the plane tickets, but they have a lot more money to raise (around $10,000). Kirk and Dawna have not asked us to do this, but as their friends, a bunch of people have expressed the desire to try and raise as much money for them as possible over the next two weeks.

The Goal: 100 people donate $100, OR MORE, in the next two weeks = $10,000.

We'll have more details about how the money will be raised in the next couple of days.

In the meantime, I wanted to ask a few people to donate prizes to those who donate money. We'll just draw randomly for the prizes. Most people won't need any added incentive, but it might be a cool thing to do, and give some of our other friends some publicity at the same time. The UPS Store here in Walnut Grove stepped up right away and has already donated a $300 printing package and Kath is going to donate a spa package as well.

So...is there anything you can donate as a draw prize, or is there someone you know who would be willing to donate something?
